GHORBA Skills Clinic with Sun&Ski Sports

MMR On Top at Rockstar Event

The MMR team has had a couple of weekends off from our usual schedule of B.C. Cup and Canada Cup races. Fortunately for our team, the weekend 'off' came at just the right time. Tantalus Bike Shop's annual Rockstar downhill race was this weekend, right here at home.

Squamish Team Rat Race Report

Fresh off our return from Quebec, the MMR Squamish team was right back to racing. Ten athletes traveled to the latest event and were able to bring back a number of top ten finishes. Dave reports on the team's efforts at the Robert's Creek "Rat Race" event...

Gravity East kick off at Massanutten resort

George Willetts, master of ceremonies announced that 11 states were represented there. MMR hosted it's first of many a 3-hour clinic for the Gravity East series,
4 attendees of the clinics had podium.
Dieter Ward, the director of the Gravity East Series, and another camp participant, raced his first DH race ever at Massanutten and finished within seconds of a podium finish.

Bromont - Follow Up and Results

Bromont Course Walk

Today started with a quick breakfast and then the MMR crew was off to walk the Bromont downhill course. "Epic," described Steve Bursey, "the course is definitely faster then last year, though the consequences are certainly higher." Miranda Miller felt the course was definitely easier then last year, "but if you make a mistake, the course is going to be unforgiving. We're going to have to be right on our lines to make the finish."
