North Shore Racks 6-Bike Carrier

The Mad March Racing crew has been testing the lastest prototype from North Shore Racks. This rear hitch rack allows us to carry six bikes on the back of the MMR van. How does it work? Simply awesome.

MMR Team Squamish Training

Pre-season and cross training with the MMR group is fun, but everyone's favourite training always happens on the bikes. This past week we had ten team members and three coaches out doing sprints and pickups, plus a fun run down a local DH trail to end the session.

Saturn Cars, Polaris ATV, Marin Bikes Press Camp

South Carolina, April 1-4th. Saturn Cars, Polaris ATV’s, Marin Bikes press camp.

Dave and I had the opportunity to represent Marin Bicycles recently at a huge national press camp that was organized by Saturn Cars as they released their new Outlook SVU vehicle (yes it is an SVU, not an SUV)… not sure what it means.

Spatial Awarness (aka: learning to fall)

When you try to explain to people outside of the sport that you are learning how to fall they think you're crazy. But learning to fall is super important. If you're able to avoid getting hurt, of course, you'll want to do it and you want to do it properly.

I have never been wetter

“I have never been wetter” is the way Wayne described today. He’s right, there is no possible way we could have been any wetter.

Lapping Day on Diamond Head

From the bottom, where Wayne and Shaums were watching, it looked like I was sending the bike 90-degrees to the trail, with my body hanging way out to riders left. “I was wondering what the heck you were thinking,” Wayne told me, “and then all of a sudden you just pulled the bike underneath you and made the corner.”
